HERITAGE WEEK!!
Hey Beautiful people we are back at it again.
Hopefully, everyone has been great and had an awesome week because I know the first 3 days of my week were not so great but what matters is how awesome my week came to an end.
Well, I am sure most of you guys are wondering why the beginning of my week was not so great. It was filled with stress because I was waiting for a delivery of a dress, I had to wear on Friday for a mini heritage event that happened on campus that was for young entrepreneurs to come to showcase their business and sell to students their products. So, with me staying far away from campus like 40 minutes away I was scared my delivery would arrive and I would not be at my residence. GUESS WHAT! My fear came to reality and my dress got delivered on Wednesdays Morning and I was in class. I had to exit a very important lecture to try and make a few calls and figure out which of my residence mates were at res to sign in my package which took me 15 mins and the delivery guy had to leave because he is not allowed to wait for more than 10 mins after I eventually found someone I called the guy begging him to come back to a point where I was even charged 100 rand extra which made me broke after that but all worth it. The important thing is one of my friends was able to get my delivery and I got my dress which fitted perfectly.
The dress in the picture is the dress that almost ruined my week.
The Friday of the event was awesome as we made a profit from the heritage thing and what made my day is getting compliments from students who did not even know me telling me that my outfit was on fire, and I looked beautiful. The Saturday a few students hosted a pool party, and it was awesome and very refreshing as the previous day was filled with hard work that was all that one needed a very chilled relaxing day without the stress of anything just fun and entertainment.
Just a fun fact since it is heritage week. I am a proud Sotho girl not from Lesotho but from South Africa and I fall under the "BaKwena" clan which means Strong Crocodile somewhere in my bloodline there is royalty but apparently, I am not part of royalty just an ordinary girl in university.
Hope you guys had an awesome Heritage Day and week but once again thank you for coming back and staying in touch with me come back next week as we connect some more.
LOVE YOU GUYS AND STAY BLESSED.
